Our house was a challenge as it was old fashioned, we wanted to modernise it, but we didn’t want to lose the character. It think she came up with something which balanced both things perfectly! Jo helped us with developing the vision for our lounge, walking us through a range of ideas for overall colour schemes, the fabrics for curtains and cushions, settee and armchair combinations, fireplace, flooring, lighting and accessories.
She was able to understand in advance how different items would work together and help us to develop a really clean contemporary feel to the room without making it feel sparse or cold. Her mood boards and the range of photos that she shared with us were effective in communicating her ideas and helping us to see her interpretation of our brief.
